Learn more about Caritas:

Caritas Australia is the Catholic agency for international aid and development. The Latin word Caritas means love and compassion. Caritas Australia, a member of Caritas Internationalis, is one of the largest development agencies in the world. The agency is focused on sustainability by working with local partners and recognising the structural nature of poverty and the need to challenge these structures. Caritas Australia works hard to make sure that as much aid as possible actually reaches those who need it. The administration/aid ratio of Caritas Australia is one of the best in the world. Caritas Australia keeps the administration and fundraising costs at or below 10% of their income.

Caritas Australia supports communities through long-term development programs in Africa, Asia, East Timor, Latin America, the Pacific and in Indigenous Australia. Cambodia is one of the many countries Caritas Australia provides integrated development though water and sanitation, housing, education, literacy, women's empowerment, income generation and sustainable agriculture.
